London Cross Walk

William Porter and the team from The Beacon House of Prayer in Stoke-on-Trent felt called to prayer walk with the cross in all the cities of the UK. It was a privilege to walk and prayer with them this week as they visited the City of London. We prayed at the financial heart of the UK and also the spiritual heart of the Methodist Church as went to the spot at Aldersgate where John Wesley’s heart was “strangely warmed”. William states the purpose and call,

“I am undertaking another cross walk this July – not a pilgrimage from place to place, but a drive to all 51 cities in England and walking there with the cross.

The purpose is to prayer-walk and make the sign of the cross in every city centre, connect with local christians and pray together for a fresh measure of God’s grace, blessing and glory  for people across England in this new season. “

We prayed for healing and peace for those affected by the pandemic and wisdom for our leaders as we navigate into a post-covid future. We also prayed for the renewal of the church, a great awakening in our nation through a move of the Holy Spirit!
